Getting started with Stream Processing Training – Live and free event  9.00 am | 1.30 pm CEST

This in person, instructor-led training course, organized by Hazelcast and SORINT.lab, is an interactive discussion and hands-on workshop of the fundamentals of Stream Processing, conducted by experts with practical experience in the industry.

This training is designed for Java Developers who want to take their first steps in understanding and working with stream processing as well as for those who are already experienced in building the data processing applications and want to learn more about this new streaming technology.

By the end of the course, the attendees will be able to build and run distributed streaming pipelines to process data in near-real time. We will also cover the advantages and disadvantages of the stream processing technologies available when approaching real-world, business-related problems.

Requirements

The candidate should be familiar with Java 8 concepts and APIs (collections, concurrency, lambdas). No prior knowledge of stream processing is required. Hazelcast Jet will be used for the labs.
