Hybrid Work

SORINT’s various work environments offices have been reorganized by going beyond the concept of the “classic” office and rethought as sharing and meeting spaces available to all SORINT’s people.

In order to facilitate work activities as much as possible and to facilitate internal communication, work organization, and meeting scheduling, we have developed tools entirely designed and implemented by SORINT’s internal teams: this truly distributed work, with no distinction between the office and other places where people choose to work!

SORINT Developes talents of the future

So many initiatives and opportunities for the future young talents whether they are still students or young neo-diplomat.

Hackersgen: the platform developed by SORINT.lab with the aim of providing students with a training environment on the most innovative IT technologies and concrete support for the development and implementation of personal school projects. Free registration to the platform by educational institutions, teachers and IT students provides access to a catalog of courses that is constantly being expanded and updated to best adapt to industry innovations and the technologies most widely used by IT companies.

The offering consists of courses taught by SORINT.lab experts, divided into ‘live’ and ‘on demand’ courses,. The student, with the support of SORINT.lab tutors, can constantly improve his project and compare himself with other project teams who are going through similar experiences. A real laboratory of experimentation, to test one’s skills and bring one’s talent to bear.

Summer campus: since 2017, every summer SORINT has offered new graduate students the opportunity to participate for free in the SORINT Summer Campus, an event that since 2020 has been held completely remotely. Since 2021, we have expanded the offer to three editions of the Campus to allow HackersGen’s many users to be able to participate in these training sessions. For two weeks we thus offered full-time training on topics ranging from the administration of the most widely used operating systems, to the most common programming languages, with overviews also on the world of databases and networks. At the end of the campus each participant was scheduled for an interview with concrete chances of employment.

To facilitate the acquisition of new knowledge and skills SORINT.lab has developed a multimedia platform where all SORINTians can upload interesting and useful content for everyone’s growth: there is content that is not exclusively technical, but also covers soft skills such as public speaking, conflict management and assertive communication.

Also available are professional growth paths curated by our in-house academy: over the years there has been increasing investment in training and constant enrichment of skills for SORINT people.

In fact, training paths are recognized as the tool through which the value of not only the professional value of the person is also increased, responding to the continuous need for updating and new skills, necessary to cope with the complexity and dynamism of business processes.

The use of stairs in place of the elevator is encouraged at SORINT locations by marking the calories burned on the steps. Since 2018 SORINT has been providing a grant for the purchase of Ebikes and electric scooters.

Several exercise classes have been organized over the years, free of charge for SORINT.lab people: last among all during the lockdown months an online lunchtime Stretching class was organized!

For this SORINT is a sponsor of several sports entities, active in different disciplines: Sportivando Bonate Sopra, ACS Atletica Colleferro Segni, SBS – Special Bergamo Sport, Scherma Bergamo, Circolo Scacchistico Excelsior, Vela Isola d’Elba and finally Rugby Bergamo 1950.

But not only that… we have included among the activities proposed to SORINTians the practicing of Mindfulness!
